I had never in my life written so much in english and for this has helped me develop my writing skills(increasing my english vocabulary and improving my drafting and orthography) but much remains to improve.
I would like in the future to write fluently in english because it is the universal language is necessary and is a basic learning that we should all people know.

I would like to continue writing in English about scientific topics and about my career (food engineering) because many scientific books are written in English and are not translated.

I would also like to specialize in the area of food research and I need to know English well because they are often research teams with people from other countries

I would like to continue writing blogs in english 3, to continue learning to write in English and read blogs from my classmates and the teacher and meet more them.

The best of this semester of english 2 was to write blogs on friday in english.

Our amazing body: "spine"

Image result for columna vertebral tumblr

The human body is amazing, all the parts play a specific and important role, none is most important than another because if any organ, system or any part of the body stops work, if will affect us.
But today I will write about(in my opinion) one of the most amazings parts of the body: spine.

Spine, also known as the vertebral column or black bone is made up of smalls bones called vertebrae(we have 26 vertebrae), its divides in four segments: cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine and sacrum and coccyx, from the neck to the coccyx. The measure is 75 cm long and the spinal(this part is very important because the brain sends nerve impulses through the spinal cord, is an important communication center for all cell of the body maintaining all the vital functions of each organ and cell, and if it is touched in the wrong place or it breaks causes invality in the whole body irreversibly) measure is 45 cm long and weight 30 gram and the role it play is amazing because unites and sustains our whole body and without it we can not stand up. And the other amazing part is the cervical spine because 7 vertebrae help hold the head that weighs 8 kilograms.

We need take care to the vertebral column and not to break(this produces hump and pain) maintaining a correct posture when sitting and standing and not carrying much weight on the back. So we can avoid deformations.

My favourite subject this term(in the university)

I'm studying engineering of food, the first semester and this have 6 subjects(chemistry, chemical laboratory techniques, english, mechanics, introduction of calculus) but I come from other university and for this I don't have mechanics.
And my favourite subject this term is chemical laboratory techniques.
In this subject in classes we do many chemical experiments related to basic chemistry, we have 40 minutes to theoretical classes and 3 hours 30 minutes to practical classes(the classes mostly practical), and I like practical classes because: all the theory is proven in the lab and I'm interesting for the labour field of research of food and I created a new and innovation food so that later it reach in the big markets and for this I need learn and know the laboratory very well and this subject is a introduction and beginning to this.
The teachers in the laboratory have doctorates, magistrates, books and publications and they are a inspiration for me, because I want to become like them.
I love this subject but have a only problem, we are in the class 30-35 students and in my opinion we are many students and they don't give personalised classes.

The career-related website that I enjoy visiting.

I am studying food engineering and...This is the food engineer-related website that I enjoy visiting:https://www.ciach.cl/index.php

This website is "CIACh" (the acronyms mean Colegio de Ingenieros de Alimentos de Chile), and I found this website last year when I made a presentation about a video found in this link in the upper right corner where it said "information of interest" and when you click here, many videos appear and all the videos I watched, they are interesting for future food engineers(is my favorite part of this website).

In this website, you can find many interesting things about the engineering of food career, for example, news, important tweets, calendar of important events in the food area, photo gallery, videos, history for the career, to find jobs and practices, universities, companies and links associates(where you can access many other websites of the same area), and so on.

I visit this website 5 times a month but I know, when I have more years studying the career I will need it more, and I like this website because I find a lot of information for my career, news and many other websites for my career.

And this is the video of the presentation (WARNING: It's interesting but long):
